I have asked God this question. I have asked him why He even created anything if he KNEW in advance (being all knowing) that some would deny him and have to be sent to eternal damnation.
I guess the answer boils down to the fact that God is God and we are not. If I am the created then who am I being *the created* to question the Creator's ultimate plan, as confusing and as unjustifiable in my little mind as that plan may seem to be.
But this was still not enough for me...
I pondered further and realised that; He could have created us as robots to be pre-programmed to adore him, but He loves us enough to allow us all FREEDOM, (something we all can understand now that Bush is in office* [yes, I am a conservative that doesn't like seeing our rights systematically destroyed]).
In any case, let me continue...
We know one thing for sure, that God knew some would deny him owing to their FREEDOM to choose, but this didn't stop God from creating all of us anyway. Why?
***KEY: He did not deny those of us who would choose him our lives, for the sake of those who would deny him anyway!*
Could it be that He, being a just God, had SO MUCH BEAUTY AND LOVE to share with those who He knew WOULD CHOOSE Him that he was willing to be sad about those who would surely deny Him.
The fact that God could see his dearly beloved suffer such a great suffering for their denial and hatred toward him must mean that there is an all together different joy and beauty on the other side of that coin.
God wouldn't have done this if there wasn't a good reason. The question is, can you have faith that God's reasoning is sufficient? This is all we can do.

I know what you're saying and I have thought deeply about this question.
As a christian there is a promise in the bible 'train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it' so I feel a great responsibility to teach my children the word of God. I pray for my kids and believe that I need to have faith that God will direct my children and try to show them the love of God in the way I treat them.
After this it is up to their free will to choose but I will make sure they receive all the teaching and instruction I can give them. I guess at the end of the day it is having faith in the fact that God is good and in control of everything.

You would rather not exist then to be a child of GOD? I can't even begin to understand that. Life is a wonderful gift. All you have to do is believe in Jesus to overcome the curse of Adam. How easy is that? We choose hell. If you choose hell then that's fine. So now you want everyone else to abandon life all together on the outside chance someone would be insane enough to be called by GOD and refuse? That's just plain silly. But it is your GOD given rite. I will respect it.
God bless ya.

Because they have the chance to go to Heaven everyone has the chance, they just have to take it. Your child will have to decided which path they choose when they are an adult, its really not that much different then raising your child and as an adult they have to pick whether they are going to be say be a hit man or Doctor, Rob banks or become a police office. If a child dies when they are young they go to Heaven automatically

Giving your life to Jesus means complete and total submission. I have given every aspect of my life over to him. Everything. It's great because I don't have to worry about a thing. I pray and trust him.
If it is in His will that my children will be saved then praise God. It really all comes back to his Word. In the bible is says to multiply your families. Sorry I cannot quote exact scripture. It pleases Him to have children. Another part of the bible (please excuse me again for not knowing where it is exactly) anyways another part of the bible says that God hears the requests of a righteous man.
To tell you the truth you just have to trust God, he's merciful. You really have to read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are called the gospel. If you have access to a bible then read it. It will change your life. All of these questions will become secondary to you after you read it. Read with an open mind.
I'm happy I've had the chance to share this with you.

If I raise my child according to God's principals then No they will not go to hell. If they did then that would make God a liar. ANd he is not one.
He says in the bible that if u train up a child in the way he should go he will not depart from it even when he is older. He also makes this promise numerous times in his word.In Psalms where God tells David that if he raises solomon according to God's laws and ways "It will not fail thee (said he)" God gave us a promise God's word is good enough for me.So no If I do my part then my children will not be going to hell.So I have children to raise them according to the Word of God so they may know him.
I love you,

Hell's not real.
It was created by the Catholic church to control Christians.
In the Christian religion, when humans die, they go to Sheol.
All of them. They are seperated into believers and non-believers. But no one is being tortured for eternity.
And no human is judged until the end of the world.
All of this is stated in the Bible.
The hell mentioned in the Bible is an adjective, its used to warn the masses. That their soul will abruptly end if they do not believe.
But there is no Hell and this is a trick of man.
The idea of Hell would cause God to be unfair. And He is just.
Nothing that anyone did on earth could equal a firey eternal damnation.

God gives us children. I hope my children go to heaven, and I will teach them in the ways of God and I will also pray for them, but if they chose not to seek God and serve Him when they find Him, that is their choice. Why wouldn't I want them to have a chance to chose? Are you saying it is better not to be anything, then to know God? Or are you saying it is better to not be anything then to find out you was wrong in believeing there is no God?
