does anyone have a recipe for a tomato sauce that originates from argentina?

I couln't fined any,but I did find this sauce:

Ingredients :

1/2 tsp Saffron
1 tbl Lemon juice
1/2 cup Olive oil
1/2 cup White wine vinegar
1 sm Onion, minced
2 clv garlic, crushed
1/4 cup Parsley, chopped
1 tsp Thyme, dried
1 x salt and pepper to taste

Method :

* Powder the safron threads and then steep in lemon juice for 20 minutes.
* Combine all ingredients with whisk.
* Marinate meat overnight. Good with shellfish and poultry.
* This is what makes an Argentine asado(barbecue).

Almost Meatless Tomato Sauce
to 8 servings [Reset]

Ingredients :

1 slc prosciutto, diced fine
1 x parsley sprig
1 med onion, quartered
1 x celery stalk, in chunks
1 x carrot, in chunks
2 tbl olive oil
2 x (16-ounce) cans peeled tomatoes
1 tbl tomato paste
1/4 cup dry white wine
Salt and pepper

Method :

* In a food processor, combine the prosciutto, parsley, onion, celery and carrot until almost pureed. Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the vegetables. Cook, stirring, until they are soft and slightly browned. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and wine and simmer about 1 hour.
* Makes enough sauce for 6 to 8 servings of pasta.














Aubergine Tomato Sauce for Pasta

Ingredients :

1 cup Aubergine, peeled,in 1/4"pieces
1 x 16 Oz. Can Tomatoes,Undrained, cut into chunks
1 x 8 Oz Can Tomato Sauce
1/2 cup Onions, chopped
1/2 cup Green Pepper, chopped
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Basil
1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
Salt And Pepper, to taste
1 tsp Sugar

Method :

* In large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered, 1 hour, until thickened. Stir occasionally while cooking.

You can mince the ingredients by hand or use a food processor, which is faster and easier. There are many variations on this condiment, and it is used on meat,rice, empanadas, etc.

2¼ hours 5 min prep
Change to: cup US Metric
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup minced fresh parsley
1 clove garlic
2 minced shallots
1 teaspoon minced basil or thyme or oregano (or mixture)
salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients and let set for at least 2 hours before serving.

Real Authentic Chimichurri Sauce - Recipe

1/2 Cup Olive Oil
1/2 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
1/2 Cup Yellow Onion; finely minced
1 Tablespoon Garlic, finely minced
1/4 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley; chopped
1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried red chili pepper (add more if you want some kick)
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup sweet red pepper; finely minced
1 teaspoon laurel or bay leaf flakes

Mix all of the ingredients well allow to rest for at least 2 hours. Best if prepared overnight.
