Every day should be treated the same.
However, Sunday is the 1st day of the week and should be celebrated.
As for the other days, they should be celebrated as every other day, because this is the day that the Lord has made.

Halloween and Christianity go back a long way. In the early days of Christianity in Europe, before most people were Christians, and when Christianity was a bloody religion (well more bloody than it is now) people who were not Christian's were regularly put to death. As this included a lot of important people (Kings, ect, ect) in order to entice the population to Christianity the leaders of the faith made important days in the Christian Religion to coincide with days on the pagans religions that were celebrated by the masses. So Christmas was scheduled around the longest night, Easter around the Equinox, and All Saints Day around Halloween.
Halloween before this was seen as a date in the year, when the spiritual plan closely intersected with the physical plan, the idea of dressing up as ghosts and to put out scary decorations was seen as a way to appease the spirits so that they would leave the people alone and cause no harm.
So basically Christianity decided to live with the pagan beliefs and adopt them into the religion, albeit as something else, rather than fight against it in a battle that they could not win.

I think Halloween is a fun celebration for children young and old.
Halloween has a negative impact on my religious beliefs, not because of the celebration, because of the things that are said about Witches.
I am a Pagan, I celebrate Samhain which falls on November 7th this year. I will be honoring my ancestors, giving thanks for the final harvest, and banishing any negativity in my life. I do not believe in the Devil, he is a Christian deity. If I did believe in his existence it is very doubtful that I would worship such an entity.
I am merely attempting to dispel some of the ugly lies that are circulated about my religion, especially this time of year.
Blessings )O(

Halloween :) In my religion this day is called Samhain. This is the summer's end festival and more imprtantly, it's the witches New Year. The celebration commences at sun down, I celebrate by having a dead supper { no one talks during the meal} After the meal the party starts, we have dancing, gift giving, barn fires,, and many other family traditions.

Halloween is celebrated one day before "All Saint's day" a Catholic holiday that was created to coincide with the Pegan holiday celebrated on the fall equinox. Christians however seen this day as unholy and dubbed it "The day of Hallows" the night before was then called "All Hallows Eve" which became Halloween. Children began taunting there parents on this unholy day by pretending to be demons and ghost from the underworld who kidnapped their children and demanding "Treats" for there safe return. All modern holidays can be traced back to the pegans, even Christmas and Easter.

The whole idea of Halloween not being safe is realistic.
That night, the 31st is a huge huge holiday in the Satanic church. And what does the Satanic church do, among other things??
Sacrifice!!
Seriously, they'll sacrifice pets and children, if they can get ahold of them.
Read the papers after Halloween, children always come up missing.
My parents allowed us to celebrate Halloween and they are Christian, but not very well informed on the whole Satanic end of things.
There is alot of negative energy because of all the Satanic activity on that night. In recent years, I haven't really gone out on Halloween, because I have gotten older, and become in tune with the positive and negative energies that flow on the earth.
And I can feel the bad energy that presents itself on that night.
And because the bad entities are out in full effect that night, bad things can happen to you, although they don't present themselves as Satanic.
It is a night for worshipping the devil. And that is what his minions do.
If you want to take your child out on Halloween, I wouldn't forbid it, as you and I both survived it. Stay with them and don't lose sight of them.
Biblically, celebrating it might be a sin. Because whether you are celebrating the devil or not, you are celebrating a pagan holiday. And pagan is not of God.
But I would strongly warn you that it is a pagan holiday and lots of evil, evil things do go on that night.
God Bless You!
