NO wonder the people of other nations are laughing at us... turning down the Kyoto agreement, and now this incredibly stupid wall. Not only environmentally threatening, also useless. The border is over 2000 miles long. They are applauding the building of a 700-mile long fence. It is a waste of money. Why can't they put it in their thick corrupt heads that if the problem is to be solved, we have to do something COMPREHENSIVE.

No because ther natural environment of illegal immigrating Mexicans is Mexico. And since when did the Mexicans care about the environment? Look at any open field in an area populated by illegal alien or even legal resident Mexicans and you will see they are using it as a garbage dump. Maybe we could sue them for damaging our environment. Go to downtown Los Angeles say Pico Union near MacArthurPArk and you will see how much they care about the environment they throw so much trash inthe gutters it sometimes reaches the top of the curb. Oh yeah the are such big environmentalists they change any environment to suit themselves without caring if it belongs to them or not. And coff coff you are not fooling anyone with your childish coffs wacko.

I wouldn't even go there if I were you. Our pollution laws are much stricter than Mexicos. California is going to help Mexico clean up an area near Tiajuana in fact. It is so polluted that the beach on the California side near there had to be closed 83 days last year.

And can we all sue China for the pollution that has made its way to our mutual west coasts that is due to development there?

And since Mexico negligently permits illegals coming, can we sue Mexico for the hundreds of tons of trash and human waste and the ruined ecospheres from illegal border crossings?

Good luck!

In that case, your environment might be better with fewer of US coming through! I'm more than willing to be even handed about this.

Good, and we'll sue you when some illegal chalupa head craps on the spinach again and kills an American. This is about the dumbest argument you've come up with yet - I expect more from you. I hope it's just the illness. Get well soon - this is ridiculous.

Seems some people put more value on plants than of the security of the country... If they grow wild, they will survive.. seems to always happen when there are forest fires left to do their own thing.. Plants that have been absent for years, seem to flourish in the new environment.. Get some education before making such foolish statements.

Your link say nothing about Mexico. You are full of it.
What environment does Mexico have,on the border that it needs to save?I live in Arizona the only native plants are cactus and they survive, trust me,and as for animals in the desert, they aren't stupid, the rattlers, rabbits etc always make it .You are a liar because Mexico is only mentioned once, and it only says the reservation shares a 75 mile border with Mexico. All they want is another casino and they will be happy.

I don't see Mexico sending help to pick up the 25 MILLION pounds of trash that is left by the illegal aliens that are crossing our border!!
And NO Mexico can't sue us, we should sue them for sending us their UNWANTED problems!!

What does 25 million pounds of trash and waste do to the environment??

The only thing destroying that dessert is the trash left behind by wets! Mexico should be sued for the environment that it's trashy people destroy in every neighborhood in America in every town.

It'll be on our side of the river moron.
I have been to the border many times and have yet to see any "valuable" plants, a lot of trash left behind, but no plants.

My bad! the Rio Grande crossings are the most accessible, easiest and close to cities. We can leave the deserts of Calif and AZ open, let the desert have their rotting bones.
