I am an old lady of several years, am still in feet and inches
( the occassional yard !!) have had look on my new tape
measure and figure 209 cm gotta be.. well my 60" tape
is 152 cm, my best mate nodded off so can'nt see rest

Why don't you people use the metric system? Feet and inches are useful sometimes, but metric is so much simpler!
(That question was not to you, but to whoever could implement the metric system in the U.S.)
