Is he a puppy? It is normal for puppies to lose their teeth. But if he is fully grown, you may want to have him checked by a vet just to be sure that nothing serious is going on.

How old is your dog? Puppies lose teeth just like humans. If it is an adult tooth then I would take your dog to the vet to make sure the gum is ok and if the root needs to be extracted.

if it doesnt become swollen or infected looking then no you dont need to take him to the vet. The vet will charge you just to look at him and tell you he's fine. I've seen dogs and cats do just fine without their canine teeth or any tooth for that matter. Just keep an eye out for reddness, swelling, and disinterest in eating food.

One of mines front teeth was knocked out by the other dog while they were fighting over a stick.Just playing.
Vet said not to worry altho I was unsure if root was still there or not.
As long as he's eating and drinking and does'nt seem to have it bother him.But if you notice swelling or dog is constantly pawing his mouth then get him to the vet asap.

You know what, I'd call your vet and ask. I'd just tell them what happened and tell them your financial situation. I did that with my own dog a few times when I was unsure about something and low on cash. They usually have the pets' best interest in mind. They always helped me out. I'd venture to say that your dog will be fine, but again, I'd call and check. Best of luck.

1. If the dog still has baby teeth-don't worry, it is normal for the teeth to fall out.

2. If the dog does not have baby teeth-don't worry, you can't do anything about it anyway.

3. The bottom line-forget it.

If your dog is a puppy, dont worry, just like children they loose baby teeth and get their adult teeth by 6 months, if its an adult, it will still be fine, it wont hurt a thing.
