My doctor told me I need to lower my Cholesterol so I need to change my eating habits. Don't get me wrong, I do eat my veggies, fruit and tend to stay away from the fried foods as much as possible. I'm also trying to watch my sugar intake as well. There has to be some tasty things that I can make to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner than what I'm currently eating (plain oatmeal with Splenda for breakfast, a few grapes and a sandwich for lunch with a diet drink or water and some kind of chicken or tuna dish for dinner. If you can't suggest something to cook or bake would you be able to suggest a book or web site? Thanks!!

Hooray for you in deciding to watch what you eat!

You may want to stop by your local public library. Ask for the books with the low cholesterol recipes.

I am also trying to watch my cholesterol. We (my husband and I ) have been eating a lot of chicken and pork. We bake the chicken or saute it in Enova oil or light (yellow) olive oil.
We use herbs like rosemary, tarragon and thyme to flavor the dishes up.

Watch your intake of butter, etc. We have been using 'I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, Light"

Read the labels carefully before buying. A lot of 'prepared' foods have high fat/cholesterol.

You may even try "Googling" low cholesterol recipes on the computer and see what you get. I think there also maybe some low fat/cholesterol recipes on Allrecipes. com.

Good luck!
