The report & Movie

http://www.infowars.com/articles/ps/police_violence_paraplegic_man_roughed_up_by_cops.htm

Based on the incident report, a spokesman with the sheriff's report said officers followed procedure.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- A paraplegic man in Rutherford County was allegedly roughed up Thursday night by police who thought they were dealing with an uncooperative drunk driver.

The misunderstanding happened when police removed the Harvey Watson from his vehicle and thought that he was resisting arrest when they dragged him across the road.

Watson is also a diabetic . A Rutherford County Sheriff's Department incident report shows that officers tried to stop Harvey Watson's vehicle but for medical reasons unknown to police at the time, he was disoriented.

“When they told me to exit the vehicle I stuck both arms out the window and told them ‘I cannot exit,'”

Because MOST (not all) cops are ignorant MORONS with a license to abuse people. They have forgotten that thier job is to protect and serve the people of our society. And until the powers that be start cracking down on the dirty cops, it will just continue to plague our society.
My personal opinion is that they have the *mean*, *defensive* posture because of thier fear of US...

The article doesn't mention whether or not Rutherford was in fact drunk or not. I'm a diabetic, and i drink just fine (at home). If he was drunk then he would be "disoriented", and alcohol robs the bodies blood sugar, and low blood sugar makes you disoriented. So if the dude is or acts drunk, are the officers so wrong to assume he is drunk? What was he doing even driving, if he was disoriented?

WOW it's nice to see the trend continues in calm rational thinking on the part of those that are there to protect and serve, why does this trend continue? There is no one there to police law enforcement agencies except internal affairs. I believe we need protection from the police in the form of an independant advocate group for the public at large that would be totally independant of state and local agencies that could moniter police activities and could prosecute them for violations against citizens to the letter of the law officers of the law might be a bit more hesitant to "react" without forethought. The police are supposed to be protecting our rights as citizens in our daily lives yet, they are the first ones to violate our civil rights without taking the time to properly asess each and every situation in light of what's playing out vs whether or not legal action is even called for or, letting logic dictate what the correct course of action may be. There is no one perfect procedure that can account for every eventuality in a situation in so far as plotting a course for action against every outcome, to think so is pure folly. I would think this is where instinct as well as problem solving skills would be invaluable to an officer of the law, unfortunatly this does not seem to be the case, most officers that I've had the displeasure of being around, (neighbors and a few that attend my church) are either 1. The loud gregarious type that are self righteous and steadfast in their belief of personal infallibility or worse yet 2. Were the victims of bullies during their childhood years at school and now THEY are the bullies, with guns (bonus).

First off sara what ever that called cops morons, why dont you become a cop and put you life on the line for people like you that dont appreciate it and call you names.

Secondly, I feel for the guy, but at the same time ask this question to those families of officers that were killed on "routine" stops and DWI's. Maybe they were a bit forceful, but you just never know. But one thing is for sure. A cop wants to go home at the end of his shift. Its better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6.

I live in Nashville so I know that story very well. Police officers don't have the time to sit and take a medical history of a person before they act. They have to take the situation as it presents itself to them. At the time, they didn't know of any disability.

no longer contained in in the slightest degree. info of falsified info needless to say excludes that info, and casts doubt on different info amassed, as does a failure to stay with technique in amassing info. yet in basic terms no longer following technique does no longer mean you get a unfastened bypass. In the two one among your examples its distinctly a lot impossible to shrink to rubble the technique so badly which you get off the hook. or perhaps while those issues do bring about a suspect getting off, its no longer automatic, its because of the fact a Jury has did no longer discover info previous a lifelike doubt.

This seems to be the Norm these days ,Teens beat homeless people to death Kids kill , and Idiots kill kids, I think any one caught doing a crime of Violence unjustified be it a Teen or a Policeman they should be drafted to the front line of some War, to fight for their life. let them vent on some one not in this country.
