i feel like this is just a nice way of brushing me off,his reasons for wanting to take it slow was that he gets attached to quick and he always does this with every gf he's ever had and that he wants to get to know me better

Well, being a guy it does sound like a brush off. But I don't know for sure since I don't know all the parameters. Such as if alcohol was involved when you two slept together. Which is usually the case. And now he doesn't have the guts to say it was a one time thing. Us guys can be like that so we don't get the @sshole player tag. I've always used the "I'm not looking for a gf right now". He could very well be telling the truth, and wants things to develop now. Give him a call in a day or so and leave it open for him to call you back. If you don't hear back within a few days, move on. Good luck.

Is this the same guy that you Had sex with that did not go well? Maybe it really is time to take a step back and start over with him. Just go slow and try to get to know each other and relax. It will all be OK soon.

I am sorry for the jerk doing that to you. You seem very sweet and do not deserve to be treated like a piece of meat. that should have been a discussion you had before you gave it up. but don't worry about it, most guys are like that. they only stick around until they get what they want then they move on, while you are sitting there with hurt feelings. from no on though, don't give it up until you are certain that he will be there tomorrow. i am not saying give up on this guy, but don't close the door on someone else that might be coming your way. What's the question? It sounds like he has a recurring pattern of behavior that either is a sign of emotional insecurities or of someone using that excuse to brush you off. Either way you're probably better off without him.

He does this with every GF ...hmmm...I sense a pattern here. If he wanted to change his ways and get to know you better, the time to do that was BEFORE you slept together. This guy is a score-n-run ...bail now before you get hurt.

As i heard this from my fiance. ITs nothing to worry about. It is simply this. Now that you have taken that next step im sure its this. He wants to make sure that things dont become all weird since you have taken that next step and he wants to make sure that he doesnt screw **** up with you or go to fast, and end up either breaking up or loosing you.
I seriously as some of the other had said that he would be dumping you or using you. I heard that my first month of dating my fiance. And we have now been together for 4 years!
