When I look at the history of the last 500 years, I see accelerating rates of technological progress and steadily increasing amounts of global commerce. Do you see something else?

I'm not religious, and if they are trying to do this I don't see it, but all this wonderful stuff we have today has not improved the humanity in humans, meaning it has not improved our lives, PC for most are toys, for doing what we are doing right now talking to a computer and letting other people see what we think
