Isn't there a song that says "he could have called 10,000 angels"... So then technically, Jesus dying on the cross was, at best an assisted suicide... right?

Your question: Christ was the son of God...right?
My answer Yes, He was, is, and always will be. Alpha-Omega.
Your question; He was really powerful and could perform miracles...right?
My answer. Yes He was and still is powerful and performing miracles.
Your last question At best an assisted suicide...right?
My answer No Jesus was betrayed, crucified, died and rose to life just as the Bible says.
If you were the only person (the one who killed Him) He still would have died for you.

WRONG, sister... Dying on the cross is the final assignment which he had no choice, but the Father's, and was willing to do for you and me because he only was willing to do the will of the Father. In Hebrews : without the shedding of BLOOD, there is no remission of sin... So you see, His most important assignment in the salvation of the human race was to die ! No other choice. The killing of the sheep and all prior to his death were all SHADOWS, as in Hebrews, of the real thing .And that was His DEATH on the cross ! Surely, He could have called His angels let alone himself to destroy the Roman soldiers and the mob, but he knew that there is no other choice but to die for you and me. God Bless you.

no it was the greatest sacrifice. It could have been an animal but that wasn't good enough for God to forgive all sin. Jesus could have come off that cross if he wanted. Then no one would have ever been forgiven for sin and would all be punished regardless if there was remorse in your lifetime. He sacrificed a sinless man, His only son.

Jesus ( Peace be upon him) was great Prophet of God.
Jesus (Peace be upon him) was not crucified at all, because God all mighty Allah never left his Rasools (Great Prophets, Not Nabi, Because there are cases of Few Nabi has been killed by people of their time) in hands of nonbelievers to die in humiliation manner specially when there were so many cowards were just watching.

According to today's Christians if hypothetically we agree about crusification and hypothetically believe that He (pbuh) sacrificed for people so there are so many oppressed people also sacrificing their life to kick out invaders from their lands. Because BUlliSH people left no other alternatives for them except sacrify their own lives.
Jesus (pbuh) has been raised to heavens by Allah and InshaAllah soon He(pbuh) will come back again with the will of God Almighty Allah, and will spread truth and peace to BUlliSH ridden world inshaAllah.

May God Almighty Allah bless all believers and give every one wisdom to follow true teachings of Moses, Jesus, and Muhammed (Peace be on all of them), so may expect blessings and mercy off All mighty God.

If some of you people would get your head out of your *** ,you could read and study the WORD OF GOD and find out about the kinsman redeemer and see why Jesus did the things he did ,instead you take scripture and break them down into little bits and pieces to satisfy your own ignorance ,Like I said before change your diaper and come on when you have grown UP

A willing sacrifice for mankind so that man could once again have a positive relationship with God the Father.

God's Gospel:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

Are you the false prophet or just a common devil worshiper?

"false prophet" was found 11 times in 11 verses in the New Testament.

Matthew 7:15 - Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 24:11 - And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:24 - For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Mark 13:22 - For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Luke 6:26 - Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Acts 13:6 - And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:

2 Peter 2:1 - But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

1 John 4:1 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Revelation 16:13 - And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Revelation 19:20 - And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 20:10 - And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

It was a sacrafice, He was sent for just that purpose, back in the old testiment, they did blood sacrafices, for the remission of sin, and God sent Jesus, so that would be stopped, because man had to many sins.
