I'm not on anyone's side, neither atheist or Christian right now. I just wanna know/understand why you believe in him and why not. And for the 'why not's' don't just say "because it's a fairy tale." that's the gayest crap in the history of B.S. the Bible doesn't even technically have a happy ending

I've never had to think of a reason why I believe in God before. I just know that I do. I know that my life would be pointless, meaningless, and so empty without God. God completely fills my every need, and I can't imagine surviving without God. Knowing God is knowing true and unconditional love, abounding joy, total forgiveness, and peace beyond understanding. God gives me life. God is a very real part of my life and that is why I believe in Him.

I believe on faith, because He saved me, and because I checked out the historical and scientific evidence available. In the end, it was just a matter of believing. It took many, many times reading the Bible through to realize that it HAD TO BE THE TRUTH. Now, I still study and look for greater truth among people who can give me greater insight. I have found that most faiths point to the Bible. It's amazing. Truthfully, the more I look, the more I want to see. God Bless you.

i'm not really on anyone's side either. i don't believe in God because theres so much science stuff that's going against the Bible. Actually i'm a little more on the atheist side..
I think the main reason we have religion, myths, etc. is because humans wanted an explanation to how they got there (before there was all this technology) and i don't like religion because it was the main cause for lots of wars/killing, but it can be good in a way so people have someone to trust in .. bad moments.

i believe in Allah (sw). After reading the Qur'an and how it incorporates the history of the world (including other religions) and science and astronomy and considering that many modern scientific phenomena are explained in the Qur'an as well as how simple the religion is and its peaceful nature where its a relationship between man and Allah (sw) with explaination on every single issue of human life. It makes a lot of sense. It gives my life meaning and direction. I know what I have to do and what I should not. Its a way of life which makes a lot of sense, thats why I believe in Allah (sw) and Islam.

The evidence of a Supreme Creative Being is overwhelming. The universe, the solar system, and the earth itself show too much orderly design to have simply occurred by chance or accident.

I dont beleive in god because the parts of the bible were rewritten and hidden so people who practise faiths tht reference the bible arent getting the whole story. I also think tht beleiving in a greater power lets people feel better about themselves when they make bad choices. When people make excuses like God wanted me to learn a lesson or god forgave me of my sins ur only trying to justify what u did so that u can feel better about the poor choices u made and blame them on someone else

Because he has done all for me, i'll never be able to pay for it and he loves me as nobody does... He gave me the hope i will be with him in the eternity.
I don't need scientifical evidence of his existence...because He is greater than science and i have tons of evidence around me...nature, the way we are designed, life itself, but you can find Him just by faith.

For one thing, interest in the realm of the divine transcends any one human culture.

For another, the bad behavior of many atheists on this site is proof that deep down inside they know there is a god.

"I am an atheist because there is no evidence for the existence of God. That should be all that needs to be said about it: no evidence, no belief." - Dan Barker "Losing Faith in Faith: From Preacher to Atheist"

I believe... Because on the day that I asked Him to forgive me of my sins...He did... and He told me that He would never leave me.
