i have a terrible handwriting any idea how i could get my writing to be neat

Be aware of how you currently write and try to wilfully change it. Look at samples from other people, oor just experiment varying the strokes. Find the (beautiful) handwriting you feel most at ease with. There are also books on improving your handwriting, and others on the psychological interpretation of your handwriting. Maybe you have some "issues" that need to be fixed before you can learn day-to-day calligraphy.

Lots of practice. I used to have terrible handwriting. I found some handwriting I thought looked nice and practiced making my letters like those. It wasn't too long and my handwriting improved immensely. Good luck

You know practice is the only way you can get better. My handwriting was so terrible. My dad was so strike he wanted me to copy write a LONG book almost like a chapter book. It was boring for me but I had to do it. You know then I got better. Keep trying!

I find writing in all caps, just with smaller letters, very useful, even if only when practicing. If you have anyone in the military that you know ask them, they tend to have much nicer handwriting, at least those that I know.

practice. this might sound silly but go buy one of those books for first and second graders with the lines to practice writing. it will help. good luck.
