Yes, it's normal. It's your cat's way of being affectionate and lovey. My mom's cat Rascal did that to her. He would get up on her shoulder, nuzzle his nose into her ear, and nibble and suck her earlobes. It's just an affection thing.

Taken away from mother cat to young just barely weaned. Cat paws and suckles because she likes you as her mother cat normal. And cat will keep this her whole life long. Even to your boyfriend warn him not to throw cat onto the wall when that rough tongue gets going on his ear.

Cats who have been hand-reared (perhaps because she was the runt of the litter and needed a bit of support) have a tendency to do this. It reminds them of being kittens again and suckling from a bottle.
It's cute wee habit and it won't do her or you any harm.

i saw one like this on Dr harry (on better homes and gardens) if you want him to try and stop doing it he said to put a little bit of aftershave or perfume behind the ear... it deters them. try different ones incase he likes some of the smells.... the cat on that show would do it to every one that came over and the owners were getting sick of it... so they had the bottles of perfume or aftershave handy and would spray a little bit behind the guest ears. it keeps the guest happy and you no longer embarrassed.

It is a signed of love and respect being her master. Its normal for them to love the person taking good care of them.

Normal? No. Something to worry about? no.
My cat does this to my clothes. It can be due to separation anxiety, or that he was taken too early from his mother.
My vet has told me to discourage this behavior by de-emphasizing the cat-human relationship and enphasizing the cat territory relationship.

Hehehe... I guess she bonded with you. Mine comes at night when I go to sleep and kneads my scalp. Oh the knots on my hair are awful the next morning, but her massage is so soothing, I GO RIGHT TO SLEEP.

I'm thinking she believes it is a TEET. Put vinegar on your ear and let her try it. She should hate it and leave you alone.
