well that is what the bible says they are.
They also are of the two people who went to heaven - Elijah in a chariot, Moses after he died (book of Jude).
or they could be two prophets that do miracles who have purely human births.
Left behind series has these dude pretty cool)
doesn't matter to me how God does it, his ideas are much higher than my ideas, so I like to sit back, stay prepared for the day, and watch in awe of my God taking over what is his

There are 3 regular viewpoints on the id of the two witnesses in Revelation 11:3-12: (a million) Moses and Elijah, (2) Enoch and Elijah, (3) 2 unknown believers whom God calls to be His witnesses interior the top situations. (a million) Moses and Elijah are seen as opportunities for the two witnesses because of the witnesses' capacity to teach water into blood (Revelation 11:6), which Moses is common for (Exodus financial disaster 7), and their capacity to break those with fireplace (Revelation 11:5), which Elijah is common for (2 Kings financial disaster a million). additionally giving power to this view is the undeniable fact that Moses and Elijah recognised with Jesus on the transfiguration (Matthew 17:3-4). better, Jewish custom anticipated Moses and Elijah to return interior the destiny. Malachi 4:5 estimated the return of Elijah, and the Jews believed that God’s promise to advance up a prophet like Moses (Deuteronomy 18:15, 18) necessitated his return. (2) Enoch and Elijah are seen as opportunities for the two witnesses because of the fact they are the two persons whom God has taken to heaven different than for experiencing loss of life (Genesis 5:23; 2 Kings 2:11). the undeniable fact that neither Enoch or Elijah have experienced loss of life seems to qualify them to adventure loss of life and resurrection, as the two witnesses adventure (Revelation 11:7-12). Proponents of this view declare that Hebrews 9:27 (all adult men die as quickly as) disqualifies Moses from being one among the two witnesses, as Moses has died as quickly as already (Deuteronomy 34:5). even nonetheless, there are numerous others interior the Bible who died two times—e.g., Lazarus, Dorcas, and the daughter of the synagogue ruler—so there is rather no reason Moses would desire to be eradicated in this foundation. View (3) if truth be told argues that Revelation financial disaster 11 would not connect any well-liked id to the two witnesses. If their identities have been Moses and Elijah, or Enoch and Elijah, why might Scripture be silent approximately this? God is totally able to taking 2 "uncomplicated" believers and allowing them to accomplish an identical signs and indicators and wonders that Moses and Elijah did. there is not something in Revelation 11 that demands us to anticipate a "well-liked" id for the two witnesses.

I believe it's Enoch and Elijah.
The reason I believe this is they were both taken up bodily to heaven (Genesis 5:24 and 2 Kings 2:11), and the scripture says it is appointed for all men to die once and after this judgment (Hewbrews 9:27). Since neither of these men have died yet, and it is revealed in the book of Revelation that the 2 witnesses die, then this is enough evidence for me.

Enoch and Elijah.
Enoch got so Close to GOD that GOD took him. Kinda like Magnets!
Elijah was taken up in a UFO.
Chariot of GOD, to most, an Unidentified Flying Object.
Those suckers can take off so fast that they leave a whirl-wind behind them, due to the rotation of the Earth I think. Same thing with Toilets, water swirls one direction in Northern Hemisphere, the other way in the Southern Hemisphere. Really helps to know that huh?

I have always thought it would be Moses and Elijah. Those that say Enoch and Elijah have a point as well.
None of us can be sure though. Only God knows.

Enoch and Elijah. Because the Bible says we are appointed once to die. Neither of these two died, and they will die and be resurrected. Since man can't die twice, I think it is Enoch and Elijah. We won't be here when they are, we will be Raptured and with our Savior.
God Bless

They are 2 modern day Christian prophets who will be protected for 3 and a half years in Jerusalem. The man who becomes the modern day Elijah may be one of them.
