If you think about it they're always saying in interviews on tv "I'll probably die young on the streets" so they might as well be useful and go to war if they want to live a risky lifestyle anyway right?

Dang you guys are awesome. I don't mean people that just dress like gangsters. I mean people that are active in gangs and are hurting people constantly. Yes, we should definitely send prisoners there too!

Right. Exactly. Perfect.
If they're "so hard", "heartless", and they love to shoot people then they'd be perfect for war! It would be like a gangsters fiesta to shoot up people without any reason and without getting in trouble to do so.
I seriously agree with you on this way. In most cases, it would scare the sh!t out of them and I like that idea. You see, if they like playing with the big guns and want to believe they're so tough, they should go to a place fit for only the tough and see how many of them really survive.
Gosh, if we did this there wouldn't be so many murders in our states!!!!
Sadly, if the Iraqis had marijuana, we'd be in trouble because then these gangsters would just give up our country for that. (Just a joke).
But...I wish the president did this.. They need to learn responsibility, hard work, and accomplishment. I think being on the line of duty in a scary situation would be life altering and they'd come back as better people and not juvenile delinquents.

Right! And it's all about thug life, holding down the block, high til I die, got my strap on, and a hundred more. For as many blogs about being unethical, the whole mercenary "let's see how they do?" challenge would get their attention and at least make more hard rap music! Like that Korn video, I can see a celebrity rap tank cruising the desert. DMX would drive, Mystikal used to be a gunner, 50 Cent could load shells, and Lil Jon or Snoop would just be wasted on the throne in their hotboxed party on wheels. That was fun!

not really the gangsta lifestyle is not based on respect or trust and you need both on the front line to fight they would go and like most so called gangsta they would run away scared, because most gang bangers are weak hearted thats why they group together and use fear and intimidation to survive but get the odds even and its a whole nother story! God bless our fighting men and women because they have enough bravery honor and respect for all of us. and no thugs could ever come close to them.

That would be a great idea. We can take all the hardcore prison convicts and give them a second chance on the condition you have to fight overseas in Iraq. You solve over crowding in today's jail systems and if they die, hell it's a win win!

that's a great idea except for the fact that it's not...
1) "gangsters" are fighting for something that they beleive in. if they really believed in fighting in iraq, they would. there is a reason that they are fighting on the streets.
2) I have no idea how someone would organize this without breaking someone's constitutinal rights, and their human rights.
3) I can garuntee you that if I was forced to go to Iraq just because I was a part of a certain society, or because i fit into your little stereotype.... I sure as he** am not gonna do my best and risk my life to protect the people who forced me to go over in the first place.
EDIT4:30pm: do all of you honestly believe that if someone made a generalization like, gee i dunno... "all football players should go to iraq because thay are aggressive" or "anyone who uses drugs needs to go to Iraq because their lives are a waste here"... and you fit into that generalization that you would honestly fight when you were forced into war? its not the "gangsters" who got us into this war. its all the yuppie stuck-up rich white people that did... maybe they should go fight it instead...
