Recently I've lost a little over 100lbs. and as much as I've been running and walking and doing sit-ups and push-ups I have yet to see results in my tummy, legs and arms. I'm smaller in size, but I'm not firming as much as I would like. I've seen ads for exercise programs online, but what has worked best for someone with similar experience with success? [ex; Slim in 6, tae-bo, windsor-pilates, the buns of steel series, etc.] I'm not looking for diet tips, I'm looking for an exercise program that will shed the last 15lbs and firm and tone my body.

My sister has had experience with slim in 6. She lost about 30 pounds. I lost about 10 but this was only after 3 weeks. I don't really know how well this program was for abs because our main problem was our hip/thigh area. Of the choices you listed, I would say try the pilates only because I know that this form of exercise is good for the core muscles. I must say congrats on the weight loss. That is amazing! I can't even lose ten pounds, so I must say that you should be very proud of what you have accomplished. Good Luck!

I agree with Crystal. Your skin will not magically snap back into place. You will need to maintain the weight loss for at least 6 months before you know if you need plastic surgery or not.

It took a long time for the skin to stretch that far. It will need at least 2 years from once you began your weight loss to possibly return back to its original form.

I've lost about 140 pounds and had to get plastic surgery to remove the excess skin.

Well honey I lost 200 pounds and consulted a plastic surgeon. Each case is very individual. But you can't tone skin, you tone muscle.

Here is what he told me! This is my personal web-site! Hope it helps!
