The Blessed Sacrament is another name for the Body Blood Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ.
The Eucharist is another name or Holy Communion.
Catholics believe that the bread and wine become the actual Body Blood Soul and Divinity of Christ, so when you view it you are seeing the Body of Christ in unison with Heaven.
Kinda like Peter, James and John at the Transfiguration of the Lord.

I have some thoughts, but first, do you know who said / wrote it and when? Cuz for Catholics at least, reception of communion is the sacrament - veneration and adoration are something completely different.

It means that you will spend less time in purgatory and get to heaven faster by recieving the most blessed scacrament. I don't know how true it is.

Some folks believe that Jesus is really there in the consecrated host. That when he said "this is my body" he meant this is really his body.
So to gaze upon the Blessed Sacrament (that is consecrated host) is to gaze upon Jesus.
To regularly look upon Jesus lovingly is to gain status in heaven.

There is no meaning. It's just more of the usual made-up nonsense that you're supposed to spend your whole life contemplating so that you don't actually use your brain for *thinking*. 'Cause if you started thinking, you wouldn't be buying the load of doo-doo that religions are selling.
Peace.

this is not in the bible.
Probably some kind of extra teaching given by catholics.
The bible teaches you are saved by the grace of God and you can't do anything to elevate your status in heaven by your own works.
This is a false teaching. If you seek truth seek the words of Jesus.
