then JESUS went with them, and when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, LORD, trouble not thyself: for i am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof

The centurian soldier, he had a man under him that was at his home sick and dieing, and the centurian told Jesus to say the word, and the man would be healed, but that he wasen`t worthy ,for Jesus to come under his roof.becuse his men did what he told them to, which was fight to kill.
