ill health is a possible excuse to not fast, you just have to make up for it later, just the feel to gain weight does not sound too good though, you can gain weight in the rest of the year, peace

Actually, fasting slows down your metablism so when the 30 days are up and you're eating a few big meals during the day, you will gain weight automatically, Also, if you eat a lot right before you go to bed at night you will gain weight, you can even nap after you make Fajr after you have just eaten, also, eat fating foods for dinner like butter, fried chicken, cream soups, fried foods, cheeses, pudding, pies, ice cream, and chocolate. And don't exercise, and you will gain weight. So see there is no excuse for not fasting as was presribed for you.

Its your own choice to fast or not, we fast to please Allah. You do break your fast at night and eat in the morning right (heheh)? But anyways, Allah advises the belivers to fast for the complete term unless you are sick or on a long journey (which is rare since we have airplanes, cars, and trains). Allah will bless you for your stuggle if you fast ten times over with blessings. Allah has granted us blessing and we should fast so that we can be better belivers.

Ramadan comes only once a year. I don't think you should be skipping your days of fasting because your skinny. You should only skip days if your are sick. If you get hungry during the day mabye you should wake up before Fajr prayer and eat something.

I'm skinny too and it doesn't stop me.

Don't you take a break from fasting for 11 months in a year?

Stop making excuses and strengthening your Iman.

If you're a Muslim at all.

well, Fasting Ramadan is an obligation that's all i know. you are allowed to not fast if you are sick but in your case i sense a little bit of laziness and not sickness.

i'm not a Muslim scholar so i won't say something i dont know.

you shouldn't fast if it's gonna affect your health. it is, in fact forbidden to fast when it can affect you. try eating a lot before fasting, and having a smaller meal at the end of the day. if you can't, you can't. that's fine. but do try to make it up later on.

Yes its okay because fasting was a law imposed by man ...

And at the end of the book of revelation it says that no one must add to the scrolls ... so what makes people think that the quran is from God ?

I'm pretty sure that instead of fasting, you can just pay a price and go on with your life like normal. I think its 1/10th of your wages.
