Spaced out, for a large, heavy drinker, depending on the proof of the wine, yes some people can. I don't drink much wine, but I might be able to do that, I don't care to try it though. Based on Ari's figures, I could.

I can take 5 bottels, but I don't know where to take them to. Seriously, maybe as a one time event, but not every day, it's too much grape.

I've drank a box of wine in one day, which is 5 liters. Usually, bottles of wine are .750 (3/4) liters, so I drank a little more that 5 bottles of wine. I was pretty drunk, but I survived, so, yes, a person can drink 5 bottles of wine in one day.

a 6ft 300 pound man drinking 5 bottles of wine over the course of 18 hours would have a BAC of around 0.30. Survivable.
Anyone smaller, probably dead, or drinking low proof wine.

I am sure there are people that can, that is between 5 to 10 liters. The more important question is, why would anyone want to?

You probably could but I wouldn't recommend it. If you're asking for yourself specifically, it would seriously depend on your height/weight etc. If you're a smaller person, I would say "HELLO ALCOHOL POISONING" for you... if you're average to above average size, then you should be in the clear. Just space it out -- don't drink it all too quickly or you'll be sick fa sho.

If you are drinking that much a day and can live to talk about it, it is time to check into an AA meeting and dry yourself out.

Anybody can do anything. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
