My 17 y.o. daughter ran away to stay at her 19 y.o. boyfriend's parent's house with her boyfriend.

I suppose you could get the county sheriff to go over there and get her - but let's face it, you've lost her. At you know (hopefully) that she is physically safe. If you chase after her, you may force her to run and not be safe anymore. You should concentrate on re-establishing and re-building your relationship with your daughter. Just start by inviting her over for dinner, that you are not going to kidnap her, she can come and go - and that she is ALWAYS welcome back into your home, no matter what happens.

that's horrible of her to do that. My friend in high school met a 36 yr old guy when she was 19, eventually, they had sex, she moved in with him, got pregnant 2 yrs later, moved to another city with him and attended college there, got pregnant again, and NOW she says they are "happily together".

yes it is however if she is the one who wants to move out of your house I would suggest to have her emancipated that way you will not be responsible for any thing she may get into.
