Did you sleep in your contacts or wear them too long? If you don't have drainage, then its not pink eye. I slept with my contacts and woke up with a red left eye and felt gritty, like something was in it, and went to the eye doctor and was told I had a corneal ulcer due to sleeping in my contacts but can also be caused by wearing contacts too long, and if it gets infected, u could lose ur sight within 24-48 hours, but it also hurts pretty bad along with being red. dont mean to scare you but if you have thos symptoms that I just mentioned, RUN to the eye doctor to get antibiotic drops. I always wondered why the eye doctors would get upset when I slept with my contacts in and now I know why.

You've probably just irritated it in some way (perhaps a grain of dirt or something was in it or you scratched it putting the contact in). If it's not hurting then just keep check on it but it's probably fine.

You may have like super-hot laser-vision in one eye (kinda like Superman-only he has it in both). Focus really hard on something you would like to melt or set on fire and close the unaffected eye. See what happens.
