Just think of your best feature and accentuate it. Then get a whole new hairstyle and have a friend do your makeup. Wear something black (it's slimming) and smile at him.

Honey, I hate to say this, but you can't make someone like you if they're not attracted to you. You will find and date the right guy soon enough. He will be someone who loves everything about you, including the few extra pounds. Frankly, bony thin or skinny is way out, and most guys like curves anyway. However, there are some guys who just aren't into bigger women, regardless of how sickly the thin girls look. So, with that said, you won't be able to change someone's point of view...everyone is attracted to something and it might not be you - or you might not be attracted to some random guy for the same reasons. go about getting attention the way anyone else would. who the hell cares if youre overweight, you're still a woman, act as such.
i personally love chubby girls, to me potbellies are adorable. then again im kind of weird.
anyways if he cant accept a few extra inches than he's seriouly just a lost cause and you deserve better. good luck!

Hmm...I felt that way around my bf when we were just friends...
Listen, all you have to do is be yourself, if you really feel that shy around him, try loosing some pounds, wear some attractive clothes that flatter your body more, don't be afraid to hug him or be next to him and compare yourself to other girls, cuz if this guy is really into you, he'll think you're beautiful no matter how much you weigh...
(I'm working out right now to surprize my bf for our anniversary! ^_^ So we can try working out together! lol)

well, i can't say looks don't matter, cuz they do; to a certain degree. but if you show that you are comfortable in your skin, he might be interested in getting to know you better. and if you are self concious about your wieght, then try cutting carbs from your diet, or create some kinda of healthier diet. talking to your parents might help.

What you weigh doesn't matter. If you think he wouldn't go for you because of your size, then he's not worth it. You need to learn to value yourself, no matter what, and don't let your weight determine who you should be with.
Show self-confidence, because that is very attractive!
