Yes, try.

You never know...

Perhaps he has been hoping that you'd try to contact him.

Good luck!

Send him an invitation with an RSVP and a date for that RSVP. That will help give you some clue as to where he sits on this issue. If he responds quickly, it is a good sign. If he doesn't even bother getting back to you, it's a bad sign. Either way, at least you know where you stand.

Send him an invite and then leave it up to him. I went through a simular situation with my dad. Don`t push him, but definatly make an effort to contact him and let him know that you have graduated.

If he hasn't tried in 13 years then he doesn't deserve to know. you need to give all of the credit to your mom/ tell her and let her know how much you love and appreciate her for all that she has some.

Maybe you can write him a letter/inviation to your graduation and how muck it would mean to you if he came or talk to him over the phone. If he's not interested stick to the ones you know care.

Hmmm, is there a good reason you're not in touch with your dad? Perhaps you should ask your mom for advice on this one.
