Do people ever remember the sad experiences from this life and get sad in heaven? If not, then what is the point of these experiences? If people don't remember anything that happens to them in this world, then what is the point of this life? Wouldn't it be immoral to punish people in hell if they didn't remember what they did wrong?

We can't imagine what heaven will be like, and every time we try we crash and burn and end up with questions just like yours. I do the same thing...sometimes I spend entire days worrying over things like, "Will my pets be in heaven?!? I can't live without my pets!"

The answer is, don't listen to what people tell you heaven is, because they just don't have a clue. They know vague things like, "You'll be happy!" and "It's perfect!", but when God said we can't imagine what heaven is like, he meant it. Our brains can't comprehend it. What I do when I start worrying about these questions is just realize that whatever the answer is, I'll be perfectly OK with it when I get there, and I'll know all the answers to my questions, and I'll see why his answers are perfect. You just have to realize that you don't know snot about what heaven is going to be like and you don't have to worry about it.

That being said, I personally believe that we'll remember every second of our past lives in a way that we don't have the brain power to remember now. Plus, we'll know who everyone else is and their entire life stories as well. And if we really are happy all the time, I doubt it will be the kind of bubbly, irritating surface happiness that is commonly associated with hippies and that fat girl in school who tries to make up for being fat by being insatiably cheerful. We'll probably be the kind of beautiful and content and connected that the Elves are in the Lord of the Rings, except with better senses of humor.

But that's just my limited imagination.

People in Heaven do not remember their sad experiences, and the point of there life is to follow God. Remember that the world was not meant to be like this, but our fall is what made our lives short and sinful. The point of this life is further God's kingdom and explain to people Jesus Christ.
Heaven and hell are completely different places, so no one said they won't remember what they did.

You will remember the good things in heaven. In heaven, you will only be happy. In hell, on the other hand, you will remember the bad things you did....you will remember what you did wrong. And the ones in hell will know that their other loved ones are living in heaven. BUT the ones in heaven, won't remember the ones down below. Be ready.

Remembering what sins you commit doesn't change the sin itself. If you sin, you sin, and you deserve to be punished for it. Why do you have bad experiences now? It's a fallen world, and so bad things happen, a number of these are simply bc we're in a fallen world. Others are bc we sinned and are suffering some consequences of it. However, God can use those things to bring us back to Him. By putting us through hard times, He can test us so that we become stronger in our faith and are able to do more for Him.

chief, as long as you've been a good man or woman in life, you aren't any more going to finally end up contained in the flaming pit. If it even exists. :) i don't have self belief a kind and benevalent god would deliver someone to hell, because he did not have self belief in him. it really is not any longer logical. makes no sense. as long as any human beings are good; help your fellow guy, do good for the SAKE of doing good, you've the afterlife coming to you. The born agains will be taken aback to work out you there, I easily have little doubt. yet, with the help of their own statements, all will be forgiven besides. So do good. :) it really is extremely that straightforward.

By no means. If you have a heavy heart you will not be going to heaven. "On Earth as it is in Heaven." Remember your Lord's Prayer?

No remembrence of evil in heaven otherwise it wouldn't be heaven. Sin is sorrowful because it leads to self destruction. That is one of the purposes of the commandments. In hell its a little late for guilt feelings to emerge. All sin can be erased here in this life.

God's Gospel:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

No. The bible says in heaven there will be no more tears, suffering or sorrow. The former things will not be remembered.

if you have time, read the Divine Comedy, Dante's inferno. It talks about the relationship between reason and faith to heaven and hell.
