i was wondering why is energy in cellular respiration wasted?

(cellular respiration-is the process in which the chemical bonds of energy-rich molecules such as glucose are converted into energy usable for life processes)

Because the amount of ATP which is the chemical used in cellular respiration and is the energy of the reaction gets pushed out of the cell through sodium pottasium pumps and connects with ADHP to form a bond, in this process because so much energy is used I don't really beleive that energy gets wasted, it just connects to different chemcials and forms bonds. I think.. hope this helps

Well if it is energy being expended to break the chemical bonds and this is a necessary process to sustain life ...I don't think that it is energy wasted. Everything worthwhile uses an
expenditure of energy.
