You'll still get the offense.
Just pay the money and get on with life. You're in school, and chances are you don't have time to argue this ticket.
Seriously--let it go. Not worth the fight.

You probably would get off on a technicality if you fought it. I remember someone doing this when I was in college and got out of it. The offense wasn't parking; it was disturbing the peace. The policeman put the wrong date on the ticket and the date on the ticket was when the guy was at a party with a lot of witnesses. He planned on turning in the officer for false arrest, but I don't know what ever came of it.

In English based courts (that consists of Ontario) lack of awareness of the regulation isn't any excuse. So combating the cost ticket could be a waste of time. Parking tickets are actually not utilized in determining insurance fees, because of the fact they are actually not shifting violations. additionally there are no factors assessed to you making use of checklist for parking tickets. So in simple terms pay the cost ticket.

yes they can give you the ticket if they have proof. if there is a court date, appear and give your story to the judge. you will still get fined, but maybe at least the officer will be reprimanded for getting the address wrong.
sometimes parking fines differnt in amount from street to street, so maybe your fine will be reduced.

If you do nothing, it will not be dismissed. In some cases, citations are thrown out due only to conflicting, confusing or incomplete information, but such is normally brought to light only by the citation recipient.
