Worms won't kill your cat...dog wormer might! dogs and cats are major different inside! Your cat will survive having worms until tomorrow! And get the wormer from your VET not a store! What the stores sell isn't really good for the cat either. Your vet will know just what you need, and in what amounts. My vet, because he knows me, will issue worm meds to me on description of the worms I've seen, for all 3 of my cats...if you have a good relationship with your vet, they'll help you out.

Do not use a dog wormer on a cat. Some medication for a dog will kill a cat. If you do not have the money, the cat can wait until Monday. Unless you know what worms the cats all you will be fighting a losing battle you can by a wormer that will kill several worm, but tapeworm medication is different then the other, you best bet would be to take a stool sample to a veterinarian so you will have the right medication and the proper dosage.

Never use a product specified for one animal on another. Cats and dogs have different physiologies and will respond differently to different kinds of products. You could harm or even kill your cat by using something formulated for dogs. You can easily wait to deworm the cat till tomorrow when you can get to a vet's office.

no you should never interchange pet's supplies including medication, shampoos and flea treatments...that is why they specify dogs or cats not both...dogs have totally different systems than cats and the over the counter stuff wont work nearly as good as the drops you get from the vet one treatment of what the vet gives and they are gone

What do you mean your vet is too busy? If he is too busy to help you out with your tortoise than I think it's time for a new vet. I wouldn't use dog and cat dewormer for a tortoise. That medicine is meant for a mammal, I don't know what it would do to a reptile.

No, no, no, no. You cannot use that on your kitty. Find a way to get cat worm medicine, call a friend for a favor or go tomorrow as soon as you can.
