Congratulations on the wedding! What is it exactly that you would like to know? It is a very popular wedding location. The shuttle at AKC is free. The DJ setup was a minimal charge, $50, as of three months ago. Fees depend on what package you get. If you get one of the wedding packages (formal buffet = $37.95 pp) it includes a lot of fees. The room fee is included in that price per person (so you just have to put up front the room charge but it is deducted later). If you want to extend the room hours it is an extra fee. If you do any upgrades to the packages it is an extra fee. The only real fees are for the dj and maybe the bartender ($50 per hour) if you extend the room hours plus the extra room fee. Ask the AKC to send you a booklet which describes all the menu plans and fees.

Girls I know that had their weddings there never had any problems with AKC. The only thing they said to make sure of was that you have to make it very obvious that your guests know that they MUST have ID to get on base, and that they can't bring wrapped gifts. This can create a real problem if you don't let your guests know in advance, 'cause then they might have to drive back to their hotel rooms to get their ID or stash their gifts.

Also, if you're just short of the 200 person minimum, they'll let that slide and they won't charge you for the full 200. Oh, and be sure to book early! Spaces fill up fast, especially for summer dates. Good luck...
