Are you a boy or girl? If you're a girl, more then likely, this is it for you and you probably won't grow much more although 156cm is an average height.

If you're a boy, I'd suggest seeing a doctor who will monitor your height, weight and pubertal progress as well as maybe order blood tests to ensure everything is fine hormonally. He'll be able to work out, using your parents' heights, what is an expected height for you in full adulthood and if you're growing normally. I'd do this as soon as possible because if there is a problem, it's usually easier to deal with when you're still in puberty rather than when you're an adult.

Overall, though, I wouldn't worry too much. You are only fifteen and there is still much time to grow (boys don't stop growing, on average, until they are eighteen and some even continue into their early twenties). You might well be due for a growth spurt soon. But it's better to check it out with a doctor.

Are you male or female? At your age, you probably won't get much taller. Sorry. I think a lot of it is genetics, but I also have a theory that you grow more if you're more active when you're younger, in your peak growth years. But now, I don't think there's much to do. Sorry. I know how you feel, I'm barely over 5 feet tall. But you learn to deal with it.

I always felt that lots of calcium and multi-vitamins would help with growth. There is hope if your growth plates (epiphyseal plates) are still open -- they close when you're done growing -- but the only way to tell is if you get an X-ray. Maybe you can talk to a doctor about it.

Sweetheart you are only 16, give it some time. From the medical perspective, men dont actually stop growing until about 23-25.(at least thats what i learned in nursing school) So you are well on your way, you might even hit a growth spurt after high school, ive seen it happen, with my nephews. Good Luck
