Ever seen 40 year old virgin? Conversation idea. Sincere complement. I like your (shirt, pants, back pack, hair color, shoes) Then say why, (color, design, pattern, it's kewl) homework, teacher "Do you have a (brother or sister) here at school?" Siblings. Family, pets, friends, recreation, or if they have a way to earn money, Music. Find a common ground and keep it going. If the conversation dies down move on to the next topic by asking a question. He who asks the questions controls the conversation. Remember their answers and use it to kick off the next few conversations you have with them should you run into them again. Listen to understand, not respond. When they are approaching you and saying hi, and you don't have to go out on a limb to talk to them, its a good sign that they may like you. Thats when you ask them out. Not in front of your buddies or her friends so you both don't feel preasurred. If you are nervious admit it. "I don't normally do this and it might be a shot in the dark," "You seem like the type of girl I would like to get to know better. We should go to (insert activity you both like here) sometime." If you get shot down play it cool and be a good sport. "No problem, may I ask why?" Listen Then address any concerns. They might say no because they don't know you well enough yet. Say no problem it's kewl. if you are not sure how to respond. Don't ignore them after that. You may get another shot later. I hope at least 1 or two things helps. I was the extremly shy girl in school, I can relate.

Put away the skateboard, and when the girls walk up to talk to you, surprise them with a question. Most girls like talking to guys. The girl has already started a conversation with you when she walks up and makes a comment. For instance; are you going to the game?
You: Yes, Are you?
She:Yes.
You: Who are you going to the game with?
Maybe a lame example, but feed off her comment when she says something to you.

Get off the board and start taking an interest in the things the girls are interested in - talk to them about their classes. If the only time they see you is on your board, then that's what they think you are interested - just your board.

I think that you should definitly try talking to the girls more often. I am 13 and I am a girl. I really start to like guys when they start to talk to me and compliment me and stuff. Just do simple things like carry her books when they look heavy. Even if she doesn't like you another girl might see you do this and start to like you. It is simple just be nice and talk to her.
