I called my mother today for her father had died. I told her that I loved her and that I was so sorry. She said in the worste way possible, How did you know? Who told you? I was chatting with my sister on the net about four hours prior to the phone call. We were just chatting about college and she got the call from our grandmother. My mother has a habbit of telling me things like this DAYS after it happened. Am I justified in hatting my mother? She even told me a few months ago, that me and someone else would have had the most beautiful children. The problem with that is, I have a son with my husband and I think that he is beautiful. Why would this women treat me like this?

My mom is the same type of person as yours. Yes, you can hate your mother, and even love her. You can also choose to be away from her, and not talk to her. I know some people think that because she gave birth to you, you should respect her, but sometimes it just shouldn't be that hard.
My mom is a real nut case, and I finally had to just let her go. I liken it to this:
If you had a friend who would steal from you every time you were with her, would you continue to be her friend, or would you eventually just walk away? If your mom treats you this way over and over, and doesn't respect your feelings, then it's the same situation.

First off you don't hate your mother because in the begining you stated that you loved her. Second yes it wrong to hate your mother. If you are a person that beleives in the bible. it tells us that if we claim to love God we can not be hating our brother. so keep that in mind. God is love and if we are hating one another how can we say we love him

it's OK to hate your mother, since you can't hate someone without loving them.
your mum might have some unresolved issues from her past that only she can help herself with.
you could even ask her why she treats you the way she does.
i wish you luck
