I assume you're talking about relative ages? Relative to my age, the youngest person I dated was my age, and the oldest was 20+ years older than me. Why did I date them? Why not? I dated all kinds of people. Age matters in a practical sense - i.e., when it comes to physical shape, appearance, reproductive span, etc. These things matter in a long-term relationship.

The youngest person I've dated was 16 and I'm 19. I liked that she had brains. I like age matters if your a guy dating someone younger and its go the opposite way. But I don't care really what people think of the age cap between the person I'm dating and me. I don't care what other people think of me its what the person I'm dating thinks of me and i think of them that matters really.

Ive dated since i was 15, so i guess the youngest girl I've dated would be 15. the oldest woman i dated was in her early to mid 30s, she was very refreshing, and was so smart I just like being with her. Eventually though age got in the way, and we both decided it was best for each other to go about our separate ways.

I married the oldest man i ever dated, he is 9 yrs older. I dated a guy that was 2 years younger then me. Age does matter I think because then you have less in common. Too old = grandpa, Too young = babysitting.

I was 16 and he was 22.....i dated him cause i hung out with all older people and we were attracted to each other at that time in our life's....and no age should not matter,age is just a number and should have no effect on peoples attractions toward each other.... (unless we are dealing with a child then that is just plain wrong!)

i was 18 and he was 29. age should not matter, and my reason for being with him was b/c he was a great guy.
