I NEVER HANG UP on telemarketers !!!
I go on talking and talking, ringing up their phone bill....
I usually tell them that the party they are calling is DEAD and I have their bodies just laying around but its starting to stink. Usually they can't handle that so THEY HANG UP ON ME !! those a$sholes ! How rude of them!!

Maybe they can call you back every five minutes but is that kind of harrassment going to get a telemarketer a sale? That is a pretty self defeating behavior. People hang up because they are not interested. Most people have signed up for the "do not call list" to get rid of telemarketing calls.

This is true somewhat. The best thing to do is to remain on the line and demand they remove your number from the list. Explain to them if they call back again it will be considered harassment and you will personally have them fired. That usually works for me! HAHA However, I know how the "hanger uppers" feel. It's kinda of like walking away from a fight, you just can't take there $h*t anymore! Except these guys need to turn and slug the telemarketers right in the face, so to speak. Hope this helps!

This is why I have Privacy Manager. But you can have your name placed upon the no call list.

Be sure to collect their correct information and have them remove you from their call list. Please make sure to strongly avoid saying words like yes, ok, no problem and such word becouse they are signs of approval.

if you want to stop all of these calls contact your phone company and your number can be made ex-directory (it won't be in the phone book).

Get the name of the company and the name of the caller, then tell them, "Please remove me from your list." Then hang up. if they call you again, you can sue. Its the law.
