Im pretty sure everyone has over looked sucidide once or twice, Some people do it because they cant handle their life anymore, They know what their doing and they do it cause they want to. Not because there crazy probleby under alot of stresss depression or anger. Without a doubt at least 1 person from every city in a state has done it. So just think How many lives were lost just because of pressure or depression.

I don't know, but if one adheres to the common argument of pro-choicers, then suicide should be perfectly acceptable. Adopt their reasoning: "your body your decision." It should be less controversial because you are a lot more capable of making a life changing decision than a fetus is.

Death is final. You can't decide to change your mind later. A lot of things that seem overwhelming at the moment are just distant memories a few months down the road. Killing yourself doesn't allow you to give yourself time to get help with a problem and solve it. We all would love to have a quick fix to all of our problems, but sometimes they take time. Sometimes a lot of time, but in the end we are better and over them and glad to be alive. Death takes that all away. While there's life, there's hope.

I'm pretty sure.. (i haven't read it though) that it is a sin in the bible so all religous people are against it like "that is just wrong, they will go straight to hell" i know for a fact that my step-dad thinks that way and i wouldn't dare tell him that i would rather go with the "your body, your life" idea
but its just like a violent video game contoversy.. you have the gamers and the video game illiterates and both have totally different views about it

Greetings!

I think the controversy arises from people thinking that it is a disease they might catch.
Most of the world practices euthanasia and no one thinks anything about it.
Is it sad? Sure
But, sometimes so is living.
Good Luck

I don't think it really is. Most people agree it's very, very bad. I haven't seen people protesting for legalizing suicide. Unless I missed something.

I'd better describe suicide as sad, tragic, ya know- something along those lines.

Becuz our government is making it almost impossible to live anymore. Ppl are struggling just to get by. Its easier to just end it all.

I dont feel that way, but many ppl do.

Its the Norm anymore.

I don't think it is controversial.

I think it is rather final.

And, somebody always has to go in and
clean up the mess.
