I am 5'4 and 120 lbs, and most people consider me thin and petite. I think it is a normal reaction for an adolescent girl to become self-conscious about her weight at your age. But believe me, you do not need to lose any weight this week. It is good to be healthy and work out - I am not suggesting you gorge yourself on junk food. But go do something to keep your mind off of this little weight obsession of yours ;) Just have fun living your life and get involved and do stuff - your weight is FINE.

Personally I don't think you need to lose weight, but if you go to slimfast.com or any other health site you can put in your height, current weight, target weight and age and it will tell you how much weight you can lose and still be healthy, you can get diet plans as well as workout plans. If you want the help it's really a simple way to do it and you won't make yourself sick or over do it. Just a suggestion for ya!! : )

Healthy and weight are two different concerns. I know people that are thin, smoke, drink, and eat junk food and are far from healthy.

Actually your weight is within normal limits for you height so I wouldn't focus on weight loss.

Make sure you focus on being healthy, eating from all food groups limiting fats and junk food, watch those empty calories like from soda and candy.

Exercise about 30 minutes a day.

Drink plenty of just plain water like 60 ounces.

Visit your MD regularly!

personally i think 118 for 5' 3" is pretty healthy maybe you just need to exercise more to turn it into muscle within reason.
