My hair looks like this...

Sorry, the pic kinda just shows my hair, not a good pic.
I want kind of a rocker look. I was thinking of cutting it short or doing the whole black underneath thing.
Ideas?

once you go black, its harder to change it back...
you can have a rocker look but cutting it with short choppy layers, it you wanna keep it long... try chunky layers.

Not to tell u not to cut hair but look at other rocker chic. Gwen has her hair different from Pink's. Even Kelly's different from Ashley to Avril. It just depends on what direction u what to go in. No one can say 1 look is better than any here because they all are rocker chicks. Do a great trim, Dye if u must with a temp dye. U may decide to do streaks. Get to Clairol and they have where u can upload your pic and do different colors but what ever u decide also dress the part. Good luck with it all.

As a stylist, I would cut it in lots of layers, texturizing the ends with a razor, leaving the length, section the back from top of ears down and do a funky color, black is fine, or do just the tips of whole head, then use Slept In styling creme by BigSexy Hair, to seperate it out and not look fixed.

If you want to look more "rock", try a dark auburn or deep red, cutting layers and/or texturizing would help too. Your idea to do dark underneath is fine also. But, really you should seek counsel from a stylist, they can truely help you find your ideal look.

Personally I think your hair looks really nice...but if you really want a change...go for a more choppy look,keep the length though...add some funky looking colors.. chocolate...caramels....and some really dark browns underneath...maybe one or two magma red ones just in the front. magma red is a bright red,and is a hit you in the face color!!....just what you need....and really straighten your hair,poker straight...make the colors stand out...but use a protective serum first.....

I like the black under blonde thing if you have full thick hair if your hair is fine it looks groce. If you have thin hair cut it short and do the tips black!!

well cut it and get a wig or a hair exstetion and see if there is a nice one that would go good.OR go to a hat shop and go get a hat or a bandna u like

my thoughts..
--cut it shoulder lenghth, shorter maybe and get colored high lights.
--not the black personally
