Uh...it's called defrosting.
You turn off the freezer, empty it, aim your hair dryer at the frost and scrape gently with a non-metallic spatula. Have a pan handy to catch the ice and water in. Better wear mittens, it's pretty cold.

Use a knife, but expect to buy a new freezer when you accidentally stick it through something critical.

Or as others have said empty the contents into cool bags, turn it off, leave the door open, stick a bowl of warm water in there, mop up the resulting flood and switch it back on, return the contents.
