I sympathise, I hate them too! My problem is I can't kill tham so I've had to develop "systems of removal" shall we say. Best way I can think (if there isn't a fearless flatmate around) is get to skoosh them onto a (sturdy) magazine and then put a sizable cup over them for transportation purposes. Don't use a glass cause then you can see them and it'll freak you out.....

RE: a thank you to do away with spiders (rather some species) in and around homestead? I basically moved into the back a million/2 of a house and that i've observed plenty spiders around the homestead windows and backyard. Is there any undemanding answer to do away with them (different than fumigating)? uncertain in the event that they make exceptionally spider traps. Any info is liked - thank you.

I suck them up in my vacuum when I'm house cleaning. I don't think you can get rid of them forever and always, but you can sure get rid of the ones you see when you clean. I am a live and let live kind of person and I used to ignore them when I cleaned my house. Then I began to notice that we had quite a little village of spiders happily residing in my house! I decided that I had to do something, so now when I vacuum I get their webs and them too. I've noticed that I don't see them much anymore. You don't have to get near them when you use the vacuum hose with the extension wands on them. Good luck.

You can sprinkle your rugs or carpets with moth crystals (or crushed mothballs), let it sit for a bit, then vacuum up. All bugs and spiders will avoid the area. This is an easy, effective, and CHEAP way to help control the problem (I know most students are strapped for cash, and time as well). The downside is, your area will smell like mothballs.

Listen honey , spiders are the thing that men were created to save women from. I would love to come over and dispose of those multi-legged beasts.

my fiance is deathly afraid of them too.
The only way i know of to get rid of spiders is to get rid of the bugs they are eating. clean up really well. if you have plants, put them in another room. move any petthings to another room. you can try to get an exterminator to get the bugs too. spiders hang out in places where the bugs hang out.

Does your student house pay for exterminators, if so have them spray your house for the spiders and any other critters that live there.

Don't worry about them. I don't want you to think of spiders crawling over you as you sleep, don't think of them in your food, in your clothing. Don't worry, they won't crawl up your nose when you are sleeping.
