OK, so i'm looking for a good camcorder. I want it to record to DVD's, and i'm wondering if any do that. I'm just a beginner, and I won't be doing anything big. Just taping some family gatherings and stuff like that ... suggestions?

I have the Sony MiniDV Handycam Camcorder. I don't have the DVD camcorder but I here the Sony's are still the best for this type as well. I researched the Sony DCR-DVD205 and it had awesome ratings for a pretty cheap for this particular type. You can purchase this at Best Buy for approximately $480-550.

Or you can check them out on ebay for much less. Go to your product here http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-71/1?AID=5463217&PID=2142836&mpre=http%3A//search.ebay.com/search/search.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3Dsony+dcr+dvd205+camcorder. I bought mine on ebay. I saved over $100 winning a bid here. They even come w/ warranties.

Good luck!
