Water Baptisim is symbolic of Jesus Death?

It is being born again in the spirit and realizing you are not separated from the Creator/God. And that we all are one and what is done to one is done to all. And you do not have to be baptized with water or go to church to accomplish it either.

I'm pretty sure the water is a symbol of cleansing (from sins) and it is not symbolic of Jesus' death, that's what the wine and bread is for. The baptism in water has actually being around since before Jesus and Jesus himself was baptized in the waters of the Jordan. It is more symbolic of this moment than of his death.

Huh?! The first water baptisims were done by John "the Baptist" showing "repentance" by the Jews/or 1st Christians -- and when Jesus started doing, inviting everyone, it was done to publicly show your devotion/commitment to Jesus. According to scripture we're to worship in "Sprit" - or in other words, you don't have to go to church, you can worship in your home, under a tree whatever, is how I understand it. Jesus instructed in the Bible to follow his footsteps closely. He got dip, so we're to get dip.

Good question. The water baptism is important because it gives us the opportunity to display obedience, but it is the spiritual baptism that saves us.

I know it! And Praise the Lord have experienced it.

Spiritual baptism is what will save you. No amount of water can do that.

I don't understand --are you telling people they should not be baptized with water. If you are I would be very afraid of your judgment.
