Okay, I was walking along, minding my own business when I saw two women holding hands. Ew, right? So as I stare in disbelief, I start cracking up. Apparently, they noticed, but did nothing.

Well, youre just not used to seeing gay people. I used to be the same way when I'd see some really fruity dude. There was this one time I was getting stoned with my buddies and we had to go up in target for something and the cashier was real fruity. I just couldnt help myself. Anyhow, theres gay people all over the place where I live now, its like that in the metro cities. You'll either get used to it at some point or you wont. Its not like you were being mean or anything.

Well first of all, I don't agree with such either, however, i do not feel it is my place to judge or make fun of others. they were obviously minding their own business and not bothering you. So, I would say yes you were very out of line and rude. I don't know why you would be in disbelief, where are you from mars. no, they didn't say anything because they probably deal with hatred like this every day of their lives and it is really very sad. live and let live. just because it is not your choice doesn't make it ok to make fun or pass judgment of others. Everyone has feelings and everyone every human desires and deserves respect regardless of their choices as long as they are not inflecting their ideas and view upon you.

Yes, you were out of line! What is funny about people holding hands? It's a sign of affection. Would it be better if it was 2 men, or a man & a woman?

The fact that you even had to ask this indicates that you know something is wrong. What happened to treating someone like you want to be treated? Isn't this something your parents taught you?

You got lucky. Maybe next time, the two girls might not be so nice and want to beat you into next week.

First of all, what's wrong with women holding hands?
Secondly, they might not have assumed that you were laughing at them, because maybe their comfortable enough with themselves that they might assume there is nothing wrong with two women holding hands.
Finally, you were completely out of line. Even if they didn't know what the source of your mockery was, you did. Who are you to judge and mock.

Yes... you were out of line.
I sometimes hold my (adult) daughter's hand....holding someone's hand does not mean you are in a romantic relationship. Grow up!
