You really won't know if she is telling you the truth or not because so many times so many people make stuff up and tell you what you want to hear instead of telling the truth. You just have to trust her and take her word as "gold" until she gives you a reason not to trust her.

Your "gurl" friend is probably going through an eye opening experience by being in college. She probably realizes that you, due to your inability to spell and/or express yourself, are not ready to be exposed to a wide range of issues.
You should first take it upon yourself to go and get tutored on how to spell. Secondly, you should read books...lots and lots of books so that you might learn how other people express their thoughts in words. You apparently have no clue on how to do this.
