I've seen brothers from the same litter get along fine. The biggest thing to do is have them neutered when they're about 6 months old (or earlier). They may have mini-spats but that will mostly be for dominance.

I also have a pair of cats from the same litter. They get along very well, even if the male is a bit of a bully.
If anything, if they are raised together they would be less likely to fight because any dominance issues would be long since settled.

Littermates are not only NOT going to fight all the time, they're also the easiest to care for! They'll always have a friend, even after little territory spats. Just be responsible and get them neutered as soon as the vet is willing to do it. Some say 2 lbs, some say 6 months, you'll just have to talk to your vet.
Here's another true experience to set your mind at ease: I took 2 cats in to have surgery and told the vet that they got along great and they could probably be put in the same cage. They informed me that no matter how they get along, they only put littermates together. Hope it helps.

a lot relies upon no the nature of the cats. 2 dominant adult males, even neutered, are going to wrestle it out till one backs down. yet different cases adult males might want to be large acquaintances, taking section in, napping, eating at the same time and grooming one yet another. i have had both. Any cats residing at the same time, no matter if male or female, regularly exercising consultation who's the right cat (curiously, that's regularly a lady if there are both sexes). each and every so often, even with the actuality that, people make that tougher through no longer going alongside with the cats' order because they sense sorry for the undercat, so that they provide it extra interest, and probably extra treats, and so on. truly that's ideal to continually feed the right cat first, puppy the right cat first, and so on., do not make the right cat flow from someplace to enable yet another cat bypass there. it may look recommend even with the indisputable fact that that's way less stressful for the cats.

They should get on fine. In fact if you want two or more cats its always better to try to get litter mates than to introduce 'strangers' of different ages from different litters - that's more likely to cause problems - though even they'll settle down eventually.

I have NEVER heard that. I have two brothers from the same litter and they have been BEST friends their whole lives (14 years so far). They clean each other, sleep together, heck they do just about everything together.

I've known many feline siblings that lived together to a ripe old age, including two cats that I had. While they may fight as kittens, it is usually only mock-fighting to learn self-defense. As they get older, you may see a few spats as they decide who's the "top cat," but it's highly unlikely that you'll see any real damage.
