In no particular order:

Guinness Stout
Anything brewed by Anchor Brewing of San Francisco
Long Trail Pale Ale
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Ballantine India Pale Ale (Very strong. Drink with care.)
Alimony Ale
My own homebrewed Doc's Original High Speed Wholly Smoke Bitter Ale (not available in stores).
Wurzburger
Watney's London Stingo Ale (Aptly called "Poor man's whisky". It'll knock you right off your bar stool if you swill it like it was Bud.)
Bitburger
Murphy's Stout
Pilsner Urquell
Molson Export Ale (red label).

Lotta good beer out there. No reason whatever to drink the swill most American brewers and marketers pass off on the unsuspecting.

The Belgian beer called Hoegaarden, it's cloudy and looks terrible but made from natural ingredients - no hangover. Not bad for a 5% ABV eh!

Really depnds on the mood and money available etc.

NewCastle Brown ale is great as it Pilsner Urquell if you like that cleaner crisper taste. Another one I like is Arrogant Bastard Ale.

On the cheaper more common end, is Corona (great on a hot summer day) or Miller Genuine Draft (what I like to drink when I'm at a club)
