stay blonde or brunette?

Question

I have naturally dirty blonde hair that gets bleached in the summer, so now its a honey-blondish color. I never liked blonde hair so im thinking about doing it a shade of brown. I cant decide weather to get it a light shade of brown or to go darker. I have blueish-green eyes and am half white and half brazillian, so my skins more on the tanned side. What shade of brown do u think would look best? My friends dont think i should get it colored at all, because they think guys like blondes better. Why is that?

Honestly hon, BRUNETTES have more fun! Darker hair tends to complement your skin tone and accentuate your features, giving you a sultry, sexy edge. By the way, your friends are wrong. :-)

Don't believe your friends, guys don't like blondes better, it just depends on the guy.
If you're tan, get a milk-chocolate shade of brown with no red in it at all, then put highlights in. It will look fantastic with dark skin.

Rather than go a complete dark brown, why don't you try having small pieces of hair done a lovely chocolate brown. Like High lights, only brown ones. would look better i think, especially with your colour skin and eyes, it would look stunning. Its a fallacy that men prefer blond es...I think that started because blond es were supposedly dumb,and could be pushed around by men, you know,told what to do!!!!......I think alot of men now go for brunettes,because they look smarter. Its a shame that women are judged on the way they look,rather than their personality's.

I think with your dark skin tone you would really suit and healthy glosey light brown shade. I wouldnt go too dark as this may be too dramatic and if you hate it it would be difficult to return back to your natural blonde. I think you should go brown but choose a nice light shade.

I'm the same way except I'm not half brazillian and i love my hair the way it is. I think you should keep it the way it is and use a blond shampoo. You want to know why guys like blonds better they think they're dumb and they can get lucky.

If you go brown, do the darker shade. Blonde is ALWAYS fun, its fall go brown.

I think dark hair always looks great, esp. in the winter. There is nothing like dark skin and features that light up against the snow!

go medium brown it will bring out your beautiful shade of eyes. A medium brown ash would look great. Good luck.

I think if you are going to go brown do a cheastnut color to accent your tan. Maybe leave a few blond highlights to add texture to your hair.

Brunette is way better for ANYONE!!!! I was platinum blonde two weeks ago. I had it done blonde and now people look at me all the time and Ford models signed me.
