For most females, yes. Because penetration tears the hymen.

Physically it can hurt a little the first time. I'd ask my spouse to go slow the first time around.
Emotionally it is the bonding of two people into one. If done outside of marriage it can have a negative emotional effect on your life. It is worth waiting, without question.
Spiritually, God views Sex as the consumation of a marriage. In other words it is what God's desires for a married couple. That's why he gave us sex. Of course also so that we could procreate.
We can hurt ourselves spiritually as well if done outside of marriage.
Of course if you decide to blow off my advice, which I'm am not naive enough to believe can't happen. You can find peace and restoration through Jesus Christ. And if you decide to go hog wild the first time around, make sure you have a sack of ice and some pain pills!!! j/k
I will pray that you make wise decisions in regards to your virginity.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but i was bummed so i figure others can at least be warned... No matter what a guy thinks they can do, it won't help/
Love is the only thing that will make it barable, then you learn to get better bc of love...

yes it can be uncomfortable you might like to stratch your vagina with you fingers for about a week prior to intercourse this will help you accomodate the male member. Also many people feel dirty afterwards if intercourse is not done within a loving married scenario
you might like to consider keeping you virginity till your married if you can not you should seriously consider using a condom hope this helps

You have what's called a hymen, and when you have sex the first time the hymen breaks---that will cause some discomfort and a couple of drops of blood. If your partner is gentle and careful you will not be in pain...just have a little discomfort for a few seconds, and then it will be ok....

Everyone is different but it hurt me. I think that the emotional side of it was surprising to me because I felt awful after I did it.

Maybe not so much physically as emotionally and mentally.....that's why we're supposed to wait til we're married, but most of us are dodos and do what we want anyway.
