no this originated in the 1970s when black rights were very sensitive and television had to be seen to be doing something positive.

So they started to portray black and other ethnic minorities in positions of power. The best example was starsky and hutch they wanted to use a black character as a criminal "huggy bear" however to not be accused of racism they made starky and hutch boss black too. In the 1970s they were very few (if any) black people in positions of power in the american police force

Another good example was fresh prince of bel air and Shaft though wealth black people in bel air are now more common still very rare. not anywhere like you see on tv.

Well, in the military I had a Hispanic first sergeant, and an African American platoon leader, and yes I work for a police department and my police chief is African American. He does a damn good job and has 30+ years experience!

I'm sure not all of them are. I thought people would realize by now that television is for entertainment, not information and statistics(except news). Those officers are there because they earned it, not because the gov wants to create a good image so they drag some random rookie for a paramount job. The gov would know better than to compromise their good face of competence.

The federal government is one big @ss set aside program for minorities, mostly blacks. Try to find a white postmaster sometime, if you do chances are his replacement won't be white. If I sound bigoted, I'm not, but the fereral government sure the hell is. It violates fair labor practices more than any company in existance. It adhears to the old adage, 'don't do what I do, do what I say!'

It's obvious as hell that the most qualified candidates are not selected first. Nor are those who score the highest on proficiency tests. I believe we need to screen our political candidates more closely, to see that they have an agenda to correct this outrage.

Yo! I thought I was the only one who noticed this. All the FBI agents Army officers and LA PD captains, judges, lawyers, principals, surgeons and astronauts are all black on TV! since when? I am convinced this doesn't reflect reality. (nice question)

This is part of Bush & Blairs plan to make us multiculturist and secular. It's a misrepresentation of the population. The idea is that the white man is a threat to the government so he is kept down.

Go to Google vidoes and search for Assault on Beech Grove, Popular Mechanics, America Freedom to Facism and also Terrorstorm, then you will understand.

Surf for The Secret Rulers of America, be afraid, very, very afraid.

This is the reason we are all pinned down by the new anti-terror laws.

Our freedom of speech and movement has been taken away by stealth and we are sleep-walking into a totalitarian state. even communism wasn't this bad.
