Someone gave me their e-mail address over the phone and after their name they said "underscore". I'm new to e-mailing and have no idea how to do that.

Underscore is the underline button. It is right after the number 0 on the keyboard. Press the shift key and the - at the same time and you will get an underscore; Like this _.

To underscore in an e-mail address. Type your e-mail address and when you come to the underscore part, look at the key on your keyboard which is on the top line, to the right of the 0. Do you see that? Okay, when you type the underscore, hold down the "shift" key, and then press the underscore ____ button. Press it only one time though. Did it work for you? Hooray!

I hope this helps. Take care.

in case you're utilising it in a professional experience maximum company digital mail addresses are comprehensive call in any different case first preliminary + surname e.g. acintoph or a.cintoph. in case you paintings in a extra casual/imaginitive industry then firstname + final preliminary is user-friendly to boot e.g. andrewc.
